Edit: Well, that was embarrassing. I forgot her second side bang thing. Drew it on there quickly, hahaha
Princess Evi sitting in front of light panels. She grew up in a very dark, dim place where light is scarce. As a princess, she could always afford more light than other people, and she always enjoyed being near it, shining her sparkling jewelry and gems.
I saw a DD recently that used intense reflective lighting, making the image look atmospheric and magical. This picture of mine doesn't have any nearly as much colors and appropriate lighting, but it was a bit of an inspiration (also for practice as well). It totally did not come out or do what I intended to do, but it looks okay, at least I got to draw a slightly different pose. Hmm wait a minute, it looks kind of similar to Yurii's drawing....I will practice more when I am freed from artblock, as I know after this submission I'm likely to not draw anything for a long time.
Today I've been blessed with the motivation and patience to stick to this drawing for decent amount of time, and my headache that's been bothering me all day has vanished while I was drawing. Today was a good day, but I've been drawing in the dark for a while so I should sleep.
I appreciate everybody's comments on my recent journal with suggestions and ideas for drawing. Unfortunately none of them really ticked my artblock off, but this seemed to. Inspiration comes too randomly.
Drawn in Photoshop, unfortunately took ~4 hours.
